In a recent schedule update, the Prairie View A&M Panthers tennis team announced a change in their upcoming match against Sam Houston State University. Originally set for January 20, 2025, the match has been moved to January 17, 2025 due to weather conditions.

The Panthers, led by head coaches Duane Williams and James Cowan IV, are gearing up for a challenging encounter with the Bearkats at this rescheduled event. The decision to move the match date was made to ensure the safety and best possible conditions for both teams. Fans and supporters of both Prairie View A&M and Sam Houston State are advised to update their calendars and support their teams on the new date.

The games set for Friday will consist of a double header, with game times set for 10:00 am and 2:00pm, in Huntsville, Texas at the Chuck & Wanda Beckner Tennis Center.
