The Lady Panthers, representing Prairie View A&M, encountered a formidable Texas A&M Aggies team and struggled to gain a foothold during the match.
The singles matches highlighted a series of tough games for the Prairie View A&M players. Standout performances from Texas A&M's Nicole Khirin, who is ranked 15th and scored victories of 6-0, 6-3, and Daria Smetannikov, ranked 102, who won her sets 6-0, 6-0, underscored the competitive disparity.
