PRAIRIE VIEW - In an upcoming collegiate basketball encounter, the Prairie View A&M Panthers are set to face the Grambling State Tigers on Saturday.  The matchup holds significant historical weight as it marks the 98th meeting between the two teams with the series currently leaning in favor of Grambling State, 31-66.

Under the guidance of head coach Sandy Pugh, the Panthers are strategizing to improve their 3-7 season record against the Tigers' slightly worse 3-9 run.Taking a closer look at the recent performance, Prairie View suffered a defeat in their last engagement with the Tigers, a 64-55 game on February 19, 2024.
