Freshman Meagan Meyers was recently named SWAC Newcomer of the Week, earning her first-ever SWAC honor after a standout performance at the DBU Old Glory Gallup.

Meyers was named SWAC Newcomer of the Week following her season-best run in the 5K, where she clocked an impressive time of 19:52.3. Competing against a strong field, she demonstrated both endurance and mental toughness, which are key traits for a successful cross country runner.
