Prairie View A&M women's basketball returns to action on Sunday, Nov. 30, as the Panthers head to San Marcos to take on the Texas State Bobcats inside Strahan Arena. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m., and the game will stream live on ESPN+.

Series History

Texas State holds a 9–5 advantage in the all-time series against Prairie View A&M. The two programs last met on Dec. 2, 2017, when the Bobcats secured an 84–57 win. PVAMU's most recent victory came on Dec. 16, 2016, a 64–60 battle that snapped a four-game Bobcat win streak.

The Panthers enter the match up looking to build on momentum under first-year head coach Tai Dillard, who took over the program after serving as associate head coach at Houston.

PVAMU finished the 2024–25 season with a 10–19 overall record, including a 6–12 mark in SWAC play, advancing to the second round of the conference tournament before falling to Texas Southern, 69–49.

This season, the Panthers are paced offensively by CJ Wilson, who leads the team with 15.8 points per game while also anchoring the defense with 8.8 rebounds per contest. Crystal Schultz adds 15.4 points per game, giving PVAMU a strong one-two scoring punch as the only Panthers averaging double figures.
