HUNTSVILLE, TX - The Prairie View A&M Panthers Men's Golf team faced tough conditions at the Bentwater Intercollegiate presented by Huntsville Toyota Monday - Tuesday February 10-11, 2025, in Huntsville, Texas. The team, participated in a competitive field, concluded the tournament ranked 13th with a collective score of 303, which is 19 strokes over par.

Despite the adverse wet and cloudy weather conditions, individual performances highlighted the team's resilience. Jacob Holloway led the Panthers, finishing tied for 32nd with an impressive score of 70, one under par. Other key performances included Kenneth Melendez, who scored 76 for a +5 over par, and Jaden Thompson, who tied for 71st with a score of 78, which is +7 over par. Joah Bramwell and Gage Gallo also contributed with scores of 81 (+10) and 79 (+8), respectively.

Looking ahead, the Panthers are set to participate in the Gulf Coast Intercollegiate in New Orleans, Louisiana, February 24-25, 2025. The team hopes to leverage the experiences from the challenging conditions faced in Huntsville to improve in the upcoming tournament.
