Prairie View A&M Lady Panthers Wrap Up at Arcis-HBCU Golf Championship

WESTON HILLS, Fla. -- The Prairie View A&M Lady Panthers showcased resilience and skill at the prestigious Arcis-HBCU Golf Championship held at The Club at Weston Hills. The scenic 7,272-yard, par-72 course on The Players Course was witness to a sunny day filled with competitive spirit among Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

The Lady Panthers, representing Prairie View A&M University, finished 5th in a strong field of competitors. The team posted a combined score of +82, closing with rounds of 323, 321, and 158 to tally a total of 802. This event saw Howard University taking the lead with a score of +50, followed by Alabama State University at +68.

Highlighting Prairie View A&M's performance were several outstanding individual results. Nevaeh Figueroa led the Lady Panthers, finishing tied for 6th place overall with a score of +14, which included rounds of 78, 80, and 36. Closely following was Micaiah Joubert, who secured the 15th position with a total of +21, showcasing rounds of 82, 80, and 39. Additionally, Kacey Menyoli placed tied for 16th with a score of +22, completing her rounds with scores of 83, 79, and 40.

The Lady Panthers are set to return to action at the West Texas Classic in Abilene, Texas, March 3-4, 2025. The team looks forward to building on their experiences and performances as they continue their competitive season.
