TALLAHASSEE, Fla. --Though they had plenty of opportunities, Prairie View A&M struggled to cash them in, leaving 10 Panthers on base in an 11-1 defeat at the hands of the Florida A&M Rattlers on Saturday.
Senior Seve Medrano (1-1) started and took the loss on the mound for Prairie View A&M (8-20, ).
In the batter's box, the Panthers were paced by senior Trenton Bush, who went 1-for-3 on the day with an RBI.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Panthers were trailing 6-0 in the fourth inning when they first put runs on the board. Prairie View A&M got an RBI single from Bush, scoring sophomore Ahmar Donatto from second base. The Panthers were unable to get any closer, as Florida A&M added five runs to their tally on the way to an 11-1 final.
