Mesha Levister, the men's team, which has clinched three previous SWAC championships in 2018, 2019, and 2021, heads into the tournament with considerable experience. Key player
Jacob Holloway leads the men with a scoring average of 75.5 and weighted points averaging at 14.40. The men's team overall holds a strong scoring average of 309.3 with 5.60 average weighted points. On the women's side,
Nevaeh Figueroa, with an average of 83.3 and 2.06 weighted points, is a crucial player. The women's team, seeking their first SWAC championship, shows promise with a team scoring average of 332.5 and average weighted rounds of 1.33.
