BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, TX -- The Prairie View A&M Lady Panthers faced a challenging field at the "Mo" Morial Invitational held at the Traditions Club at Texas A&M in Bryan, Texas, on April 7- 8, 2025. The Lady Panthers, led by standout performances from several players, secured a 15th-place finish in a competitive lineup of schools.
The golf invitational, hosted by Texas A&M, saw the home team finish at the top with a score of +16. In contrast, Prairie View A&M ended with +188, reflecting a tough outing amidst a strong contingent of schools.
Briann Briggs was the top performer for the Lady Panthers with a total score of +47 over the rounds, displaying resilience and skill on a challenging course. Following closely were
Kacey Menyoli at +48,
Nevaeh Figueroa at +50,
Micaiah Joubert at +53, and
Madison Williams at +57, each contributing to the team's efforts with their performances.
The Lady Panthers aim to rebound from this outing as they prepare for their next challenge at the SWAC Championship, scheduled for April 15, 2025, at the RTJ Oxmoor Valley Golf Club in Birmingham, Alabama.
