The men's golf team competed in the PGA Works Collegiate Championships, tying for second place with an impressive team performance in Kohler, Wisconsin. The men's team finished with a total score of +55 over par and 919 strokes across three rounds, demonstrating skill and teamwork on challenging courses.
During the first round on the Straights Course, the Panthers shot a combined score of 306 strokes. The following day, on The Irish Course, they improved significantly, posting a score of 288 strokes. However, in the final round back on the Straights Course, the team recorded 325 strokes.
Individually,
Jacob Holloway stood out with rounds of 74, 73, and 80, totaling 227 strokes and tying for 8th place at +11 over par. Teammates
Kenneth Melendrez,
Gage Gallo, and
Joah Bramwell each tied for 17th place overall. Melendrez shot rounds of 81, 73, and 79, totaling 233 strokes, while Gallo carded 80, 72, and 81 for a total of 233 strokes. Bramwell also contributed significantly with rounds of 78, 70, and 85, summing up to the same total of 233 strokes.
