Christion Derrick competed in the quarterfinals today at the NCAA West Regionals held at E.B. Cushing Stadium in College Station, TX. Derrick, showcasing commendable speed and endurance, clocked a time of 46.21 seconds. He secured the 7th position in his heat and 20th overall, which brought an end to his season. This race was not just a result of his seasonal efforts but also a significant moment as it concluded Derrick's collegiate track career, marking his final appearance for the Prairie View A&M Panthers.
Christion Derrick remarked that he was overall satisfied with his collegiate carrer after running his race. Head coach,
Chris Clay, also expressed being pleased with Derrick's race and being able to coach him over the past years.
