PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas – The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) has announced the prestigious 2024-25 All-American Scholar Team, and Prairie View A&M University is proud to recognize five student-athletes for their outstanding academic and athletic achievements.
Sophomores Nevaeh Figueroa, Briann Briggs, and Micaiah Joubert, freshman Madison Williams, and junior Kacey Menyoli each earned a spot on the WGCA All-American Scholar Team — one of the most rigorous academic honors in all of collegiate athletics.
This year's list includes 1,499 women's collegiate golfers from 403 institutions across all divisions. To qualify, student-athletes must meet the WGCA's high standards, which include:
-
Maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher,
-
Holding amateur status and remaining on the team's roster through the end of the season, and
-
Competing in at least 50% of the team's scheduled competitive rounds through the conference championship.
"Our student-athletes continue to represent Prairie View A&M with distinction in the classroom and on the course," said PVAMU Director of Athletics Anton Goff. "This recognition by the WGCA reflects their hard work, discipline, and commitment to excellence."
The Panthers' representation on the WGCA All-American Scholar Team is a testament to the program's culture of academic achievement and the support provided by the coaching staff and athletic department.
Congratulations to Nevaeh, Briann, Micaiah, Madison, and Kacey on this well-deserved honor. Panther Nation is proud of your accomplishments!
