The Prairie View A&M Panthers Men's Cross Country team opened their cross country season on today at the Stormy Seas Opener hosted by Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. The Panthers finished 6th overall in the event.
Junior
Noah Green led the team, finishing 16th with an excellent time of 16:18.26 in the men's 5K. Freshman Christian Rios closely followed, recording a time of 16:24.06, displaying promising potential early in his collegiate career. Other notable performances included
Thierry Garcon, who completed the race in 16:38.97, Elie Smith with a time of 16:53.34,
Kejun Wilson at 17:06.20,
Eli Jacobs finishing at 17:10.48,
Marcus Lewis at 17:23.41, and
Messiyah Forte, who clocked in at 17:54.24.
