BATON ROUGE, LA --The Prairie View A&M volleyball team took care of business in straight sets (25-14, 25-17, 25-13) to take down the Southern Lady Jaguars Sunday on the road at Seymour Gymnasium in SWAC opener.
The conference victory improved Prairie View A&M's record to 4-10 overall and 1-0 in SWAC action.
D'Mya Hill finished with 11 kills on the day to lead the Lady Panthers offense while finishing with a hitting percentage of .4. got 16 digs from Leila Smalls to lead them defensively.

SET 1 | The Lady Panthers took control on the first point and held the lead the rest of the way to win the first set 25-14. Prairie View A&M led by 11 points at 24-13 before finishing off the set. Prairie View A&M also supplemented their offense with three aces in the opening set.
SET 2 | Prairie View A&M continued to roll after a set-one win by securing a 25-17 victory in set two. The Lady Panthers took control of the set lead early on at 3-2 and held the lead the rest of the way. Prairie View A&M led by as many as eight points at 24-16 before closing out the set.
SET 3 | Prairie View A&M closed the match in a 3-0 sweep after taking set three. The Lady Panthers took control of the set early when the score was 2-1 and held the lead the rest of the way to win 25-13. Prairie View A&M led by as many as 12 points at 23-11 before finishing off the stanza. The Prairie View A&M offense also got a boost from five aces in the stanza.
