SAN ANTONIO, TX --The Prairie View A&M Panthers took a 4-2 lead into the sixth inning, but could not hang on and fell 6-4 to the UTSA Roadrunners Tuesday.
Kayla Adams (10-5) came out of the bullpen for Prairie View A&M (17-12) and took the loss.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Trailing 2-0, the Panthers first put runs on the board in the third inning.
The Panthers then held the Roadrunners scoreless before getting back on the board the very next inning. Dyani McKinley came across to score the lone run of the inning for Prairie View A&M, which brought the Panthers lead to 4-2. The Panthers were unable to hold the lead, as UTSA scored four times over the remaining three innings to grab the 6-4 win.
