PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas --The Prairie View A&M Panthers were not able to notch a run against UAPB on Sunday despite totaling five hits and were shut out 12-0 by the Golden Lions.
Kamar Dove (0-5) started and took the loss on the mound for Prairie View A&M (7-27, 3-12).
Offensively, the Panthers were led by Reginald Samuel, who went 2-for-3 on the day.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Prairie View A&M managed zero chances with runners on third in the shutout, going a total of 0-for-4 with runners in scoring position. The Panthers last got a runner on third in the sixth, when Ethan Walker made it 90 feet away from scoring with two outs.
