Panthers come up short in a 31-10 loss to Stephen F. Austin

PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas -- Prairie View A&M fell 31-10 to Stephen F. Austin at home Saturday night.

The 'Jacks improved to 4-0 on the season while the Panthers dropped to 1-3.

Kyyon Harris led all Panthers rushers with 61 yards in the contest. Tevin Carter also added 12 yards on the ground.

The most prolific target for Prairie View A&M quarterbacks was Damien McDaniel, who caught six passes for 80 yards.

Jalen O'Neal showed out for the Prairie View A&M defense, collecting one interception. Tyler Morehead added one recovered fumble and Jace Ward had six tackles, 1.5 TFL, and one sack in the loss.

The Panthers won the turnover battle in Saturday's game, forcing two turnovers while coughing the ball up one time, with Prairie View A&M turning those takeaways into three points.
