HOUSTON, Texas - Men's golf completed two days in Houston, Texas at the Bayou City Collegiate Classic.

Kola Abudu led the team with a 7-over-par finish at the Bayou City Classic, pacing the Panthers during the three-round tournament.

Abudu closed the event with the Panthers' lowest round of the final day, shooting a 1-under 71 in the third round. That finish gave Abudu the best overall score among Prairie View A&M's five listed golfers and provided a strong conclusion to the two-day tournament.

Blake Meredith finished second on the team at 9 over. Meredith's best work came in the opening round, when a 1-under 71 placed Meredith in an early position to contend for the Panthers' top individual result. Meredith remained close to Abudu on the overall leaderboard and finished two strokes behind the team leader.

Joah Bramwell was another steady contributor, completing the tournament at 10 over and finishing one stroke behind Meredith. Gage Gallo posted a 15-over total, while Ethan Aleman rounded out Prairie View A&M's lineup at 22 over. The five-player group gave the Panthers three golfers within 10 strokes of par for the tournament.
