Cameron Franklin is a senior safety from Sweeny, Texas, majoring in Kinesiology at Prairie View A&M University. He graduated from Van Vleck High School, where his passion for football began to take shape.
Cameron’s most memorable moments on the field come from simply being blessed to play the game he loves. His gameday ritual includes praying, which helps him stay focused and grounded. He believes the mental aspect of the game is one of the greatest challenges athletes face today, emphasizing the importance of mindset in sports performance.
Off the field, Cameron enjoys working out and hunting. He is a fan of Kevin Hart and his favorite movie is The Longest Yard. Christmas holds a special place in his heart because it allows him to spend quality time with family. When it comes to food, he enjoys Alfredo dishes and salads.
Looking ahead, Cameron’s goal is to retire his parents and be successful in whatever career path he chooses. He chose Prairie View A&M for its culture and the opportunities it provides to grow both as an athlete and an individual.
