Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Tim Smith begins his second season as a graduate assistant on the Prairie View A&M coaching staff.  Smith moves to the defensive side of the ball this season after spending the 2010 campaign as the assistant to the head coach.

Smith played three seasons (2006-08) for the Panthers and holds a bachelor’s in history from Prairie View A&M in 2009.  He’s current pursuing a master’s in reading education while also serving as an assistant under the Dean of the Prairie View A&M Graduate School in addition to spending time as an assistant with the PVAMU Center for Radiation Engineering and Science for Space Exploration (CRESSE).
