Dealo McGee is a senior defensive lineman from Saint Louis, Missouri, majoring in General Studies at Prairie View A&M University. A graduate of Cleveland NJROTC High School, Dealo—known by his nickname “Lo”—brings a combination of grit, experience, and leadership to the defensive front.
One of his most memorable moments in football was competing against Jacksonville State on ESPN, as well as contributing to a WAC Championship win. These experiences affirmed his belief that with hard work and dedication, he belongs on the biggest stages. His gameday ritual involves walking around the entire field while stretching and listening to music, allowing him to get mentally and physically locked in.
Off the field, Dealo enjoys cooking, working out, and gaming. He’s a fan of Charleston White and counts Fat Albert as his favorite all-time movie. His go-to meals are Chinese food and seafood. Christmas is his favorite holiday because of the love, generosity, and gratitude that surrounds the season.
Dealo believes one of the biggest challenges athletes face today is staying committed—especially with the pressures of NIL deals and social media. Looking ahead, he hopes to take his talents to the next level, whether that’s in the NFL, CFL, or overseas. His ultimate dream is to be paid to play the game he loves.
He chose Prairie View A&M because of the coaching staff—their belief in him, honesty, and leadership created an environment where he could grow both as an athlete and a man.
