John is a returning junior tight end from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, majoring in Criminal Justice. Before transferring to Prairie View A&M, he attended Iowa Central Community College and has since completed a year of play with the Panthers, where he continues to develop as a reliable target and physical presence on the field.

A fan of the legendary Michael Jackson, Ethan also names The Nightmare Before Christmas as his all-time favorite movie. He’s a big fan of pizza and steak, and his favorite holiday is Halloween — not just for the fun, but for the opportunity to surprise and scare his friends. Off the field, Ethan enjoys video games and working out to stay sharp both mentally and physically.

His game day routine includes prayer and listening to music to get locked in before kickoff. Ethan believes one of the greatest challenges athletes face today is maintaining strong mental health amidst the pressures of performance and expectations. One of his most memorable moments came in high school during a tight playoff loss in the second round a game that left a lasting impression and continues to fuel his competitive drive.

Looking ahead, Ethan hopes to be financially stable and still playing the game he loves at a high level. His dream is to suit up as a tight end in the NFL. He chose Prairie View A&M because of its culture and the support he receives from the coaching staff — both of which he sees as key to helping him reach his goals.
