Fred Stokes Jr., a graduate student majoring in Health & Education, hails from Chicago, Illinois. He previously attended Central Michigan University.
His favorite entertainer is Kevin Hart, and his all-time favorite movie is Godzilla. Fred enjoys BBQ and celebrates his birthday as his favorite holiday, describing it as a movie every year.
Fred's hobbies include spending time with his family, going on vacations, and experiencing great food. His "twin" little brother, Andrew Stokes, is a college basketball player and an exercise science major, standing at 6'5". On game days, Fred focuses on getting into the zone to perform at his best.
He believes that one of the greatest challenges for athletes today is overcoming the pressure to be perfect every time. His most memorable sports moment was playing at Central Michigan, where his team went to a MAC Championship, participated in three bowl games, and won a Tony the Tiger Bowl ring.
In five years, Fred hopes to be a professional in his field, either as a football player or in a health-related career. He chose Prairie View A&M because of its strong community and the opportunities it provides.
