She had a goal in a victory against Houston-Victoria on Sept. 28, 2012…Powell was named defender of the week on Oct. 10, 2012 as she led a defense that allowed two goals in three games… She was critical in a defense that finished fourth in the league in goals allowed (2.11 goals allowed per game)
HIGH SCHOOL: Powell played women’s soccer in high school at Rowlett High School where she was the Offensive MVP in 2009 and 2011. . . She was on the 2nd Team All-District in 2011 and Offensive MVP of the district in 2012.
