Orlando Horton Jr. is a sophomore majoring in Business Management from Houston, Texas. He graduated from Clear Falls High School and plays as a point guard at Prairie View A&M.

Orlando’s favorite NBA player is Kyrie Irving, who he admires for his exceptional skills and unique style of play. His favorite all-time movie is "Wizard with the Ball," and he enjoys eating steak. Among holidays, he cherishes Thanksgiving for the opportunity to be surrounded by family.

Outside of basketball, Orlando is passionate about his clothing brand, reflecting his entrepreneurial spirit. To him, being part of a team means working collaboratively towards a common goal, supporting each other, and combining strengths to achieve more together. It involves trust, respect, and leveraging everyone’s unique skills and perspectives.

He identifies the pressure to perform consistently, balancing intense training with other life aspects, and dealing with injuries as some of the greatest challenges for athletes today. One of Orlando’s most memorable moments in sports is simply winning, an experience that highlights his competitive nature and dedication.

In five years, Orlando aspires to be playing in the NBA, fulfilling his dream job. He chose Prairie View A&M because of the hands-on coaching approach and the commitment of the staff to fight for their players' success and development.
