Marcel Bryant is a sophomore majoring in Business, originally from Austin. He graduated from Cedar Ridge High School and plays as a guard/forward at Prairie View A&M.

Marcel’s favorite all-time movie is "Polar Express," and he enjoys eating chicken. Among holidays, he values Christmas for the joy it brings, both in celebrations and in seeing others happy.

To Marcel, being part of a team means having the opportunity to grow in many ways, including on the court and personally. He believes that one of the greatest challenges for athletes today is being mentally prepared and engaging in practices that foster mental readiness for the game.

While Marcel has had numerous memorable moments in his sport, he looks forward to achieving even more in the future. In five years, he hopes to be recognized not only as a winner but also as someone who helps others both on and off the court. His dream job is to be an NBA player and eventually earn a place in the Hall of Fame. Marcel chose Prairie View A&M because he felt guided by faith to this path, believing it was the right direction for his personal and professional growth.
