Premiere “P” Whitley, a 6’3”, 260-pound defensive lineman from San Diego, California, is a junior at Prairie View A&M University majoring in English. A graduate of Helix Charter High School, Whitley brings strength, discipline, and determination to the Panthers’ defensive front.
His pregame ritual is rooted in faith—praying and thanking his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, before taking the field. Outside of football, Whitley enjoys playing guitar, weightlifting, and swimming at the beach. His favorite foods are Mexican dishes, and his favorite entertainers range from Ray Charles to J Boog, reflecting his eclectic taste in music.
One of his most memorable moments came when his JUCO team won its bowl game, a victory that fueled his drive for even greater success at the next level. Looking ahead, Whitley aspires to either play professional football or begin his career teaching and coaching, with a dream of shaping lives on and off the field.
Whitley chose Prairie View A&M after deep prayer and reflection, believing it was the path God placed before him to continue his journey both as a student and an athlete.
