Favorite holiday & why?My favorite holiday is Christmas because that is when all my family comes into town and we all just hang out. It feels nice when it’s cold out and we all just sit on the couch while watching our favorite movies or TV shows with my dad’s hot chocolate.

Outside of your sport, what other sport do you play?Well I used to run the 4x1 and the 100m for my school’s track team
People would never guess:I actually have a huge (& very good) sense of humor. And once you get to know me I will always try to make you laugh.
5 years down the line, what you wish to accomplish in your career?:I wish to accomplish getting my masters degree and hopefully pursue something I love.
What drives your passion for sports?:The competition that I always get to experience in practices and games. Also knowing that I get to have fun and learn about myself while gaining a family within my team.
What do you believe are the greatest challenges for athletes today?I would say most athletes struggle with mental toughness because we are always giving our 100% in everything we do, whether it is our academics or on the court. It is tough to balance all those aspects in our lives while trying to maintain a tough state of mind.
Tell us your most successful season in sports?: I would say my 18s club season because we made it to nationals with an entirely new team. Not only that but it was the team I had connected with the most and they continue being part of my volleyball journey. In H.S. I would say my Sophmore year because I was named captain and led my team to playoffs for the first time in school history.
Whats your dream job?:I had always wanted to become a family physician in a low- income area and give back to the community who supported me along my journey. However, I am majoring in Civil Engineering, so we’ll see what my plan is soon!
What made you choose Prairie View A&M?: I chose PV because of the culture that has been created by the student body. My high school was not very large, so oftentimes we lacked school spirit. But at PV that is all I see and when I came on campus, I knew this was the place for me.
What do you like most about PVAMU? Why? I like the community at PV and the university’s strive for excellence. They invest so much into their educational facilities such as the Roy P. Engineering building, and I cannot wait to start attending classes there! Also love the dorms and the fact I get my own room :)
