Panther Basketball To Play In Houston On Sunday Afternoon

Commemorative Men's Basketball Posters To Be Handed Out At The M.O. Campbell Center

HOUSTON - The Prairie View A&M men's basketball team will venture to Houston on Sunday as they'll battle Dallas Christian College at the M.O. Campbell Center beginning at 3 p.m.

Tickets for Sunday's contest are $10 and the doors will open at 1:30 p.m. This will mark the first time since Nov. 15 that the Panthers will play in the area and the first non-conference matchup in the Houston area since 2006.

Junior guard Jourdan DeMuynck leads the Panthers in scoring with 11.5 points while sophomore forward Jules Montgomery is the top rebounder with 7.3 boards per outing.

Commemorative men's basketball posters will be given out to fans in attendance on Sunday. For fans unable to attend, a live video stream will be available thru the PVPanthers.com website. Click on the above link to access the stream.

The Campbell Center is located at 1865 Aldine Bender in Houston. The complex is close to several major attractions and throughways including Intercontinental Airport, Beltway 8 North, Interstate 45 and Highway 59.
