PINE BLUFF, Ark. – Prairie View A&M's five-game winning streak came to an end on Sunday as Arkansas-Pine Bluff recorded a 12-2 win in the series finale.

UAPB combined to score eight runs in the second and third frames before PV crossed home a run in the fourth on James Rodriguez's RBI.  UAPB added two more runs in the fifth before PV returned to the scoreboard for the final time in the sixth on Colby Hines' RBI triple.

Cody Thompson was tagged with the loss in only 2.1 innings of action.  PV struggled at the plate as Hines recorded PV's lone hit of the afternoon.

The Panthers travel to Huntsville, Texas on Wednesday for a midweek matchup at Sam Houston State.
