PV RELAYS SCHEDULE
There will be plenty to do this weekend for sports fans on the Prairie View A&M campus as the 83rd Wright-Jacket PV Relays takes place, a key baseball series versus Arkansas-Pine Bluff and a spring practice for the Panther football team.
The 83rd Wright-Jacket PV Relays begins at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday inside of Blackshear Stadium. Seventeen high schools from across the area will be in attendance in addition to the Prairie View A&M track teams. Click on the above link for a full schedule of events.
At noon, the Prairie View A&M baseball team hits the diamond for a doubleheader versus Arkansas-Pine Buff. The Panthers have jumped out to a solid start in SWAC play as they've captured their first two SWAC series against TSU and Southern. The series commences on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.
Beginning at 9 a.m., the Panther football team continues spring practice with a live scrimmage at the practice fields. Second-year head coach Heishma Northern and staff enter their final week of spring practice with the 2012 Purple & Gold Spring Football Game scheduled for Friday, March 30 at 6:30 p.m.
