PINE BLUFF, Ark. - Prairie View A&M recovered from a slow offensive start in a 5-2 Game 1 loss and retaliated with a 9-4 win in Game 2 as they split the doubleheader with Arkansas-Pine Bluff Saturday afternoon in Pine Bluff, Ark.
Panthers first baseman Dominiq Harris turned in a monster game as he went 2-for-5 with three RBIs, one solo homer and a triple en route to his teams's victory.
Evan Richard set the tempo for the Panthers on a wacky sequence of events that led to him scoring on what looked like an inside the park home run in the second. He reached on a single, advanced to second on a fielding error by the UAPB center fielder and scored on a throwing error by the Golden Lions left fielder. Center fielder

Harris had a two-RBI triple in the third to give the Panthers a 4-0 lead and then hit a solo home run in the seventh to kick off a three-run inning.
Prairie View A&M pitcher Stef Hernandez picked up his fourth win of the season after going seven innings, surrendering two runs (one earned) off of just four hits.
