Prairie View A&M junior right fielder Brett Valley and sophomore first baseman Dominiq Harris were named to the 2012 NCAA Houston Regional All-Tournament Team.

Valley and Harris were recognized for their offensive contributions as well as defensive consistency in the two games they participated in at the Houston Regional. Harris hit 3-for-9 (.333) with one run scored. He had 16 put outs and a .941 fielding percentage.

Valley went 3-for-8 (.375) with one walk on the weekend. This included a 3-for-5 performance against Sam Houston State on June 2 in the Panthers' 4-2 elimination game loss to the Bearkats. Valley had a perfect fielding percentage in right field with eight put outs.

The Panthers finished the season with a 28-25 record and having made their third NCAA Regional appearance in school history. Both Valley and Harris will return for Prairie View A&M next season as the team looks to repeat as Southwestern Athletic Conference Tournament Champions.
