The Prairie View A&M campus will be full of activity this weekend starting with the annual spring football game on Friday night at 7 p.m. and a key softball match-up at 3 p.m. versus Arkansas-Pine Bluff.  On Saturday, the baseball team joins the action as they'll host TSU in a big three-game series at noon.

On Friday night, the PV football team will host its annual spring football game at Blackshear Field.  The game will begin at 7 p.m. and is free to the public.  

Under the guidance of third-year head coach Heishma Northern, the Panthers will play an offense-defense format and play a full, four quarter scrimmage.  Fans will have an opportunity to witness the team's high-powered offensive attack against a defensive unit that's playing in a new scheme led by new defensive coordinator Charles McMillian.  The game marks the second-to-last practice of the spring as the coaching staff will then turn their attention to spring recruiting and preparing for the 2013 season.

Prior to the football game, the Lady Panther softball team will host Arkansas-Pine Bluff in a key SWAC West Divisional showdown at the softball complex.  The first pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m. with a doubleheader scheduled for Saturday at noon.

On Saturday at noon, the baseball team will host TSU in a pivotal SWAC doubleheader at the Panther Baseball Field.  The series concludes on Sunday with a single game at 1 p.m.
