The Tigers defeated Prairie View A&M in a 10-0 run rule in Game 1 as pitcher Brock Baker threw a complete game shut out, surrendering just six hits. Panthers first baseman Dominiq Harris continued his hot hitting, going 2-for-3 in the game, but Prairie View A&M struggled as a team offensively.
