?The Prairie View A&M Panthers continue SWAC Tournament play on Wednesday night against Southern at 8 p.m. in the Toyota Center in Downtown Houston.
?Wednesday's game marks a rematch of last year's 2013 SWAC Tournament Championship in which SU won in the closing secconds.
?Southern won the regular season championship in their third year under head coach Roman Banks.
?The Panthers snapped a seven-game slide on Tuesday night with a 79-63 win over Mississippi Valley State and have won three postseason games in two years compared to only two in six years.
?The Panthers last saw Southern on Thursday as they fell 91-59 in Baton Rouge, La. This marks the first game for SU in the tournament as the Panthers had a play-in round on Tuesday.
?Southern is on a seven-game winning streak over the Panthers dating back to 2012. The last time Prairie View A&M defeated Southern was a 72-57 win in Baton Rouge, La. on March 5, 2011.
