PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas. – The Prairie View A&M University women's tennis team lost at home to Lamar Saturday morning and at Houston Saturday afternoon.
 
The Lady Panthers dropped a 7-0 decision to Lamar and fell 4-0 at U of H.

Number one Neharika Rama picked up the first set in singles against Lamar with a 6-3 score, before falling 6-1 and 6-0 in the final two matches.  Number three Stacy Lackey also picked up a set in singles (7-5) but could not pull out the win.
 
Prairie View A&M will return to the action Friday when they host to Incarnate Word as part of a doubleheader with the men at 11 a.m. at the PVAMU Tennis Courts.
