SAN MARCO, Texas – For the first time in two weeks, the Prairie View A&M University women's soccer team was able to play its first game since Hurricane Harvey facing Texas State on Friday, falling 4-0.
PVAMU took eight shots while having five shots on goal. Blair Lane led the team with two of the five shots on goal. Diane Neff, Alexis Mack, and Mila Busto managed one shot on goal apiece.
Lady Panthers Clarissa Ladesma collected five saves on the evening while playing all 90 minutes.
Prairie will play its home opener of Sunday at 1 p.m. against McNeese State at the PVAMU Soccer Complex. Tickets can be purchased at the game for $5.00 and fans can get live stats tickets on pvpanthers.com.
