The Prairie View A&M baseball team resumes Southwestern Athletic Conference Western Division play at Texas Southern this weekend.
 
Games at MacGregor Park are scheduled for Friday at 5 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m., and Sunday at 1 p.m., with live stats for all three games at pvpanthers.com.
 
The Panthers (2-9 overall, 1-2 SWAC) are coming off a 13-6 loss at Stephen F. Austin Tuesday night. PVAMU did not play last weekend and began SWAC conference play by winning one of three games at Grambling on March 2-3.
 
Ezekiel Bear leads Prairie View A&M at the plate, hitting .345 (10-29), and is second in hits, tied for first in doubles (three), is tied for first in home runs (one), and is tied for third in RBI (four). RHP Darrien Williams is third in the SWAC in strikeouts with 26.
 
Texas Southern (3-12, 1-1) is coming off a two-game midweek series loss at Oklahoma. The Tigers split two games at Southern last weekend to open league play, with the third game of the series postponed.
