PRAIRIE VIEW – The Prairie View A&M baseball team (2-7) begins Southwestern Athletic Conference play with an early litmus test as the Panthers will host defending conference champion Southern this weekend.
Game one of the three-game series will begin at 2 p.m. Friday, and game two starts at 2 p.m. Saturday. The series wraps up Sunday with a start time of 1 p.m. All games will emanate from Tankersley Field.
The Panthers look to rebound from an 8-4 midweek setback to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, a contest marred by Panther miscues in the field.
