PRAIRIE VIEW – Prairie View A&M soccer dropped a tight 1-0 decision to Alabama A&M Sunday afternoon during Southwestern Athletic Conference action at the PVAMU Soccer Complex.
How it Happened:
In a match marred by missed chances for the Lady Panthers, Prairie View A&M peppered Alabama A&M with shots early on but weren't able to put anything in net. Meanwhile, Alabama A&M was held to just one shot in the first half.
Unable to get anything past Alabama A&M's defense, the Lady Panthers lost their handle on the match in the 76th minute as Jameela Barrett put one home to give the visitors a lead. Despite numerous corner kick opportunities late, the Lady Panthers were unable to tie the match to stave off the loss.

Prairie View A&M outshot Alabama A&M 10-5, including a 6-2 advantage in shots on goal. Quinn Josiah made one save.
