BOX SCORE HOUSTON, Texas – Prairie View A&M University baseball took on the University of Houston Cougars Tuesday night in non-conference play at Schroeder Park falling 13-1.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Panthers got started on the scoreboard tagging a homerun in the bottom of the second by Dominic Cox to take a 1-0 lead.
• The Cougars responded late in the bottom of the fourth with three runs they would also add one in sixth and seventh, before adding eight runs in the bottom of the eighth to take the 13-1 win.
• This would end the game for the Panthers as they weren't able to find their offense the remainder of the game.
• Josh Larzabal was credited the loss his second of the season.  Ben Ybaraa went 3-for-4 to lead the Panthers offense.

 
Up Next:
The Prairie View A&M baseball team will continue non-conference play when they host Wiley College on Wednesday, March 30 with the first pitch set for 1 p.m. at Tankersley Field.
