FRESNO, CA -- In a challenging regular season contest on Wednesday night the Men's Basketball team faced a tough matchup against the Fresno St. Bulldogs at Save Mart Center in Fresno, CA. Despite a spirited effort, the Panthers could not clinch a victory, falling on the road 83-94 to the Bulldogs. Five Panthers put up double-digit points
The game began on a high note for Fresno St., who managed to build a significant lead by halftime with a score of 53-36. Prairie View A&M fought back in the second half, reducing the point gap but couldn't overcome the early deficit. Jordan Tillmon stood out for the Panthers with an impressive performance, scoring 18 points, grabbing 9 rebounds, and achieving 2 steals. Other notable performances included John-Paul Ricks who contributed 16 points and Tanahj Pettway who added 17 points. Prairie View A&M did a great job crashing the offensive glass, pulling down 15 boards, resulting in 10 second chance points.
