How it Happened

From the start, the Panthers showed formidable teamwork and skill. Destiny Barragan, assisted by Emely Reyes, opened the scoring for Prairie View A&M early in the game, her first goal of the season. This initial goal set the tone for the match, putting the Panthers in a leading position by halftime with a score of 1-0. Moving into the second period, Emily Apodaca extended the Panthers' lead by scoring her first goal of the seasson, making it the second and final goal, sealing the victory for her team.
