PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas — Prairie View A&M Football was well represented as the Southwestern Athletic Conference announced its 2025 All-SWAC Football Teams, with seven players earning postseason honors across the first and second teams. The selections highlight Prairie View's strong season and the standout performances that shaped the program's success.
FIRST TEAM ALL-SWAC
Offense
Calvin McMillian – Offensive Lineman
A dominant force in the trenches, McMillian anchored the Panthers' offensive front with consistency, physicality, and veteran leadership. His performance played a key role in Prairie View's offensive efficiency throughout the season.
Jyzaiah Rockwell – Wide Receiver
Rockwell emerged as one of the league's most explosive playmakers. His combination of elite route running, speed, and reliable hands made him a top target and one of the conference's premier receivers.
Defense
Travor Randle – Defensive Back
Randle solidified himself as one of the SWAC's top lockdown defenders. His high football IQ, physical coverage style, and timely playmaking made him a cornerstone of the Panthers' secondary.
SECOND TEAM ALL-SWAC
Offense
Chase Bingmon – Running Back
Bingmon delivered a breakout campaign, providing balance and explosiveness to the PVAMU backfield. His ability to break tackles and move the chains earned him a place among the league's best.
Travon Jones – Tight End
A versatile weapon, Jones contributed both as a reliable blocker and receiving threat. His presence added flexibility and power to the Panthers' offensive schemes.
Defense
Malik Gucake – Defensive Lineman
Gucake's impact on the defensive line was undeniable, consistently disrupting opposing backfields with his strength and motor.
Eric Zachery – Defensive Back
Zachery was a steady force in the secondary, offering strong coverage and physical play. His instincts and consistency helped elevate the defensive unit.
