The Prairie View A&M Panthers demonstrated remarkable performance during their first indoor track and field meet of the season at the Harvard Classic on December 6, 2025. This event, held in Cambridge, Massachusetts, featured athletes from multiple institutions showcasing their skills in various track events.
Among the standout Panthers, Mikyah McDonald qualified for the finals in the 60 meters, securing a second place finish with a commendable time of 7.52 seconds. Additional highlights included Meagan Meyers who finished 4th in the mile with a time of 5:31.63, closely followed by teammate
Lea Murphy who claimed 6th place at 5:34.18 in the same event. In the 500 meters,
Treasure Bethea finished 6th, clocking in at 1:18.64.
In field events,
Tyra Coleman took 5th place in the triple jump with a strong jump of 11.50 meters.
Michaela Booker and Sanai Kintched made their mark in the shot put, finishing 4th and 6th with throws of 12.65 meters and 12.40 meters, respectively. Starrmia Dixon also performed impressively, securing 4th place in the long jump with a leap of 5.56 meters.
