The Prairie View A&M Panthers are gearing up for an exciting challenge at the West Texas Classic golf tournament, scheduled on March 3-4, 2025, in Abeline, Texas. The Panthers, known for their determined spirit, will face a competitive field as they step onto the course away from their home turf.

The West Texas Classic is not just any tournament; it will be hosted by Abeline Christian University and features a lineup of formidable teams including the University of Toledo, Dayton, Drake, Lamar, Incarnate Word, Oklahoma State, Oral Roberts, Stephen F. Austin, Tarleton State, Texas Arlington, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Texas Southern, South Dakota, Central Michigan, and Bowling Green State University, alongside the host Wildcats. This assembly of teams promises a thrilling showcase of golf talents from across the nation.

The event kicks off early at 8:30 AM on Monday and continues with an 8 AM start on Tuesday, ensuring two full days of competitive golf. The Panthers are poised to demonstrate their skills and compete at the highest level, with the team and supporters looking forward to making a mark in this prestigious gathering.
