PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas -- Prairie View A&M Panthers fell 7-1 to the UTSA Roadrunners on Tuesday.
Junior Brielle Moreno (5-4) started and took the loss in the circle for Prairie View A&M (16-14). Senior Cailin Massey was a bright spot out of the bullpen, going two shutout innings without allowing a hit, walking none, and striking out three.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Panthers were trailing 1-0 in the first inning when they first put runs on the board. Freshman Kayla Zaid came across to score the lone run of the inning for Prairie View A&M and get them on the board. UTSA then scored six times over the remaining six innings to break the tie and grab the 7-1 win.
