The Prairie View A&M Panthers are set to host the Grambling Tigers in a softball series on April 26, 2025, at the Lady Panther Softball Field. The series, which includes a completion of a previously unfinished game, will be the last series of the regular season, especially with the seniors on the team being honored.

Last series between these teams was held in March 2025, where Prairie View A&M secured victories in the first two games. The third game was interrupted due to weather, remaining incomplete. This unfinished game will be resumed on Friday, starting from where it left off, allowing both teams to conclude the last two innings.

The weekend will continue with a three-game series. The first game, which includes completing the unfinished game, is scheduled for Saturday at 12 pm. The second and third games will follow on Sunday, also starting at 12 pm and 3 pm respectively. This event not only provides an intense competition but also serves as a special occasion to acknowledge the contributions of senior players Janaiya Thomas, Cailin Massey, Hailey Elizarraras, Aerin Talley, Hannah Garza, and Nya Brown.

With a current season record of 23-19 overall and 17-3 in SWAC conference play, the Panthers look to strengthen their standing with a strong performance against the Tigers.
